News in regards to Undertale: Undyne's Wrath

Hey guys, it’s Mimic.

I wanted to put this bit of news out there to let people know what is currently going on. The main bulletin being that, after the next page is finished, I’ll be placing the comic on break or hiatus. 

Many may not like this, but it’s something which has to be done for a number of reasons. One of the reasons is that, in the past 3 months, I’ve been trying to look for a job. After getting laid off from the previous one, I spent at least once a week sending resumes and such to get hired. The long wait and lack of responses has put some bit of stress upon me; its affected my ability to work in a creative fashion, which would explain why I’ve only been doing the comic at least once a week instead of the more numerous updates when I first started.

The second reason is my waning interest in Undertale. Now don’t get me wrong, I love the game and the universe it’s in. The problem is that its been months, at least 7 months, since anything significant was made in the canon universe or from Toby Fox himself. Its growing increasingly hard to keep the same spark that I had for the game even with all the fan-created things being made; which were awesome, by the way. There’s just not a lot going for it, in terms of longevity. Plus, drawing Undyne all the time gets rather tiring. 

There are many smaller reasons, but I figure I’d put the two biggest ones.

So the next month or so, I’ll be placing the comic on hold. At least until I get a job or something happens.I have to appologize to those who enjoy the comic. I thank you for the support and I shall do what I can to try and get updates to this when possible. On the plus side, I shall be posting different art related things in the mean time.
